Jadyn decided to walk to the house with her eyes closed... and she collided with the stairs. I didn't witness the event (cause I was still getting Ashton out of the van), but when I finally saw her she was covered in blood and just kept spitting more out. It took a while until I was able to figure out where the blood was coming from. Well, she bit her lip pretty good- possibly all the way through, but I'm not sure (she has teeth marks on both sides). Luckily her doctor said that we didn't need to bring her in- just clean it and give her popsicles.
Here's the mess she left behind (not including the mess on her coat, shirt, shoes, backpack, and Minnie Mouse).
It took a while to calm down, but she liked the idea of having popsicles for lunch. Plus Daddy left his ipad at home for her to play with :)
She's been asking me when the hole will go away. And she also keeps asking me to take pictures of it so she can see it. She's actually complaining less about this injury than she is about a minor rug burn she got last week. And she's looking forward to showing her fat lip to everyone at preschool on Monday :)

Hannah did this when she was younger and I almost took her to the ER to get stiches. It is amazing how much blood can come out of the mouth. Hopefully it heals fast!
Yeah, I called Brad right away and told him I didn't know what was wrong with Jadyn but come home cause there's a lot of blood. I'm hoping she doesn't bump it or something- cause I'm sure it'd start gushing again. Goodness!
