Earlier this week, Aunt Kimberly, Morgan, the kids and I went to the Round Barn to see their little lambs. It was the perfect day to visit the farm... especially since the rest of our spring break was mostly rain. The kids had such a great time seeing the chickens, the young lambs and their mamas, the llamas, barn cat, and friendly pup Heidi.
Ashton fell asleep on the ride there- he was completely out! It took some work to wake him up and drag him out of the van, but then he perked up quickly once he saw where we were at, "There's chickens!" Sarah proudly showed the kids her beautiful chickens.
Peyton was just waking up for a nap in the van too... she wasn't quite sure what she woke up to :)
Then Jim brought out his favorite lamb for the us to pet- so sweet!
One of the two llamas, Ruby... Ashton was a broken record singing, "Did you ever seen a llama, eatin' his pajamas?..." :)

Heidi loved the kids... I think they liked her too :)
And now that Peyton was more awake, we had to look at the chickens one more time.
Jadyn even tried to get Aunt Kimberly to get a closer look at the chickens- ha!
Thanks Margie and Jim for letting us come to your wonderful farm and see your animals!

(and I will say that Sarah's chickens are very pretty / very sweet... but I prefer them at a distance) :)
