Poor Pinky!

Poor Pinky had a rough morning the other day. Jadyn was being careless (and naughty) and she fell over, along with my computer chair. Pinky took off running and I assumed it was because she was scared. She went and hid under the bed and didn't reappear for a few hours. Finally she came back downstairs, crying and holding her paw up. That's when I finally realized that the chair had fallen on her. My mom and I decided that we should take her to the vet... and her leg was broke!! Pinky was a trooper though- they didn't even need to sedate her when the put on the split. The doctor chose a pink cast because of her name :) So for the next 4-6 weeks, Pinky will have her pink and purple heart cast on. And she does NOT like it!! Hopefully it gets better or it's going to be a long few weeks.

Looking sad and pathetic :(

Pinky's sitting on her "Swiss Cheese Chalet" with her broken leg dangling in one of the "swiss cheese" holes. She must have been compfy cause she sat there for awhile. Trying to eat some food, but I don't think she has drank or eaten very much. She hardly even moves. So sad. By the way, I don't know if Jadyn realizes that it's her fault, but she does feel really bad. She is constantly asking about Pinky and wanting to pet her (more than normal). And for the past couple days, when Jadyn goes down for a nap, she has asked me to give Pinky her blanket. So sweet :)
