I think Jadyn really enjoyed her Easter this year. We had such fun watching her open her Easter basket and hunt for eggs. Jadyn quickly learned which eggs had money in them and which ones simply had candy. When she found her first egg with money, Jadyn ran and got her piggy bank. And thanks to Grandpa's coin jar and Aunt Tina filling eggs.... Jadyn's piggy bank is very full now :)
Jadyn was able to see all of her cousins on Easter (all eight of 'em). Aunt Mary and Avery were visiting from NC, so we met her baby cousin Avery for the first time (and I just realized we didn't get a picture of them together- darn!). Jadyn got to say hi to her cousin Judah in TX, thanks to Grandpa and Grandma's webcam. And all of Jadyn's cousins on the Shumway's side (Morgan, Nadia, Brandon, Meagan, Aaron and Evan) were over at Grandpa and Grandma's for Easter. Jadyn loved seeing them all!!
Jadyn's serious fast just cracks me up. Jadyn opened her first egg and devoured a piece of chocolate right away. She got some chocolate on her hands... so we told her to put her hands up while I ran to the bathroom to get some wipes. We just kept telling her, "Hands up! Hands up!" and she took us very seriously :) Love it! And the dress stayed clean!
Jadyn so excited to fill her piggy bank!! Getting candy wasn't as exciting anymore.
Jadyn found her basket right away at the Masbruchs'. And she loved her new monkey, clothes, and candy... and eggs filled with money!!
And I forgot to pull out the camera at the Shumways', but hopefully I'll have some pictures to share later (courtesy of others).
